Non-Standard Finance's Scheme of Arrangement

Everyday Lending Limited (“ELL”), a company within the Non-Standard Finance group, runs Everyday Loans, George Banco and TrustTwo, and is responsible for paying any valid claims from customers in relation to loans provided by those brands. ELL does not have enough money to pay this compensation in full and has proposed a legal process called a “scheme of arrangement” to pay part of eligible compensation claims it receives in final settlement of eligible compensation claims (the “Scheme”).

The Scheme was sanctioned by the Court on 22 June 2023 and Non-Standard Finance group announced today that Plan B has completed, so the Scheme has now become effective. Customers who believe they have an eligible compensation claim under the Scheme have until 31 December 2023 to submit their claim.

For more information please visit the scheme website www.nsfclaims.co.uk. The documents found at the Scheme website include a document (the Explanatory Statement) that explains the Scheme, as well as setting out the terms of Scheme. The Scheme website also contains an FAQ section.

After a particularly challenging period, NSF Group's Guarantor Loans Division has been placed into a managed run-off as we prepare to close down the business.

We are still open and the decision to stop offering new loans to our customers will not impact how we are supporting our existing customers. Our customer service, accounts management and complaints team remain available to support you.

No further borrowing will be approved, and all existing loans will be paid off by customers at their scheduled maturity dates or early, as prepayment.

The managed run-off process will have no impact on any existing borrowing and our customers should continue with their agreed repayment schedule as normal.

You can still access your account here. Our complaints procedure and contact details can and also be found here.

We know that many of our customers have questions for us, the most frequent of which can be found here.

REPAYMENT

  • Do I still need to repay my loan?

Yes. The terms and conditions of all loans remain as agreed when the loan was taken out and payment is due in line with your loan agreement.

  • What will happen if I don’t repay my loan on time?

The terms and conditions remain as agreed when the loan was taken out.

  • Can I take out a new loan or add additional funds to my existing loan?

We’re in a managed run-off, which means we will not provide any further lending.

  • I can’t afford to repay my loan. What should I do?

If you find yourself in a difficult situation, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. We will try and work out a solution with you over the phone. Your customer account manager will make every effort to find a way to overcome the problem without having to contact your Guarantor.

However, if we cannot come to a resolution, it is only then your Guarantor will be asked to make that month’s payment.

  • How do I repay my loan?

Your loan should be repaid exactly as arranged when it was taken out.

  • I need to talk to someone about my loan or I have a question which is not answered here.

Please check the FAQs section of the website here.
